well the recent weekend has been definitely crazy for us.. we felt high on music itself.. we got so many ppl to thank.. so let us start of with DEFINITELY U GUYS!!! SUFRIN, SUFRAN, KOLIN... u guys ROCK.. thanks for bein there.. sufrin n sufran thanks for the gigs.. u guys have been fuckin gr8.. cos of u guys.. band edge was a kick ass gig.. we fuckin loved it.. the atmosphere was gr8.. thanks to the crowd who jumped and sang along with us. u guys were awesome.. so sat was a kick start in our moods.. well.. then came sunday.. we were offered to play at Gas Haus at bugis.. organized by this cool guy Slyvester n Levon of Ronin. and it turned out gr8 too.. exposure was gr8 for us.. thanks to the above mentioned guys.. so we just hope thinks go uphill for us.. Slyvester thanks for the exposures ya givin us.. thanks to guys who turned up for sat n sunday too. well signing out.. but a lil shout out: there's this band with this girl screamer on sunday, they were awesome, so was Indecisive Minds.. go check the latter out.. we'll get back on the one with the girl screamer once we find out the band's name.. haha..

well last friday was awesome we wld say.. but yirun was definitely missed by us.. it felt weird performing without him, and i wld say we lacked a lil confidence.. but thanks to the awesome support of the crowd, we managed to pull it off.. thanks to u guys!! special thanks goes out again to: Sufrin, Kolin, Sufran for stirring the crowd and gearing them up.. A Little Girl Terrorist for organising this kick-a** gig.. it was really good.. we're more than happy to play at any other of u guys gigs.. awesome..

as for the other bands that performed that nite.. they brought the house down.. a must mention are A Butterfly Caught, A Little Girl Terrorist, and of course Aviery.. Sufrin your sweat drowned us.. hahah.. pics will be out soon..

Well what can we say? The gig in our personal point of view wsa a BLAST. Everyone there was supportive of each other and the whole atmosphere was very 'home-y'.. Tho the room was kinda small & cramp, the moshing was awesome. DBSP kicked off with No Direction who started off with a blast of a tempo. They got everyone hyped and geared up.

Next up was us who sobered things off with our first song, 'Only You'.. haha.. But we instilled back the mood with 'Lilacs & Lolitas'. After which we played 2 more originals; 'Thru Mistakes' & 'Closest Bullet To My Heart'. The latter song was joined by Sufrin of Aviery who actually had no idea how it went but just screamt along with Ian; but all ended well.. Haha.. Impromptu they say.. haha.. We ended our set with 'A Boy Brushed Red...' that seemed to set the crowd on fire. SWEAR it's an Underoath thing. Joining the screams midway thru the song was Anthony and Sufran of 'In Hatred & Gifted' and Collin of 'Apathetic Geisha' (by which all are awesome bands). Screams were everywhere, moshers were flying.. total ecstasy..

Dying With Mary Jane were up next that fire-packed the house with even more moshing esp thru the song 'Lipgloss & Black'.. the cover was done to almost perfection n style.. Must say that despite the drummer's size.. his flexibility and coordination is f*CKIN POWER!! cool fella too..

Then came the part, i think most wld agree was the highlight of the show - Aviery. Calm, collected and truly unwary of their surroundings and just in their own world; Aviery made their stage their home. Truly electrifying and well-composed originals with melodic keys, flair of drums, aggresion of the guits and the emotions in the screams. As usual Fred was in his world and kicked ass both on the guit and the keys. Firdaus was excellent on the drums, while Dawn was damn collected.. she rocks our socks la.. serious.. Lastly Sufrin topped it all off with the awesome screamin, full of emotion and showmanship. YEt again its an Underoath thing where 'Young And Aspiring' blew everyone away..

Non-stop action, exhausted the crowd was treated to the final cut Strayvoice that need no introduction. Smooth and killer riffs. The screamer was F*CKIN unique to our point of view, excellent voice and rawa, edgy screamin that ROCKED.. and the music, showmanship, its just no wonder they're signed on to an American label. Leaders of the scene.. Good SH*T.. DAMN GD SHIT..

In a whole, Sufran did a gd job at his first gig.. 3 indian thumbs up.. ;)

Many thanks to Sufran for gettin us the gig, Sufrin(for givin the breakthru), Anthony & Collin who were supportive during our performances adn screamed the hell with us.. and of course all those who appreciated our songs and style in music and came down to support us.. Thanks a million..

Ephyra has been walkin a slow journey finding our way up.. we pray we do get there for we all find no better way than venting out through the poetic form of peace and violence..

still we're very much everywhere when it comes to members.. cos yirun is havin his A's, Ian's in NS, Syed with school, Adam n Hakim on their way to NS.. but wateva it is.. some day we'll all be performin side by side again.. just if only it wasn't that time..

well here it is.. our new look and all.. well just hope you guys like it.. it's still has some links that are yet to be up and working.. so just hang in there..
But it must be said that it's been a long time since ppl have even heard from us. We'd just like to call it a big break as we were all tied down with responsibilities. However the break has done us good, for we've come back matured and our music has taken a different approach and style, though we still lie in the post-hardcore field with a more screamo tinge to it.

As such Ephyra promises to bite back better than before.. so continue supporting..
